The biannual world-championships for Pastry are being helt at Lyon, France. The Dutch team asked AARGH! to design their campagne, and to help design the showpieces for Lyon. It was a creative process which led to amazing results. The recipebook was produced in superdeluxe quality, to demonstrate the richness of the showpieces. The theme was: 007, James Bond.

Maarten Struijs and urban chaos
Architect Maarten Struijs came to us to complete the series of his books about Erasmian Urbanism. An attempt to try to explain in short: the unity within the chaos of urban design. We designed his book to his concept. Breaking apart the text, designing the spread one by one, like buildings, signs, roadplans and other elements found in cities.

Typography: arabic and latin font
A completely new set of fonts, both built with the same shapes. When both arabic and latin are required, this font makes sure it has a integrated, consisting look. There are several examples of implemented use, as you can see here. The pillow on the right won the 2nd price of the El Hema awards, which got a lot of media-attention.

Dutch national telephone company
 AARGH! designed the last public telephone cards of Holland for the KNP. The payoff was: "Altijd dichtbij" (in English: Always Nearby). By putting the national flags of all countries next to eachother, the borders dissapear, and the idividual flags start to play together. They create one big colourful flag.
